About the McCusker Alzheimer's Research Foundation Inc

The McCusker Alzheimer's Research Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2001 to enhance medical research into Alzheimer's disease in Western Australia.

Our vision is for a world in which Alzheimer's disease no longer exists.

Our mission is to support research that makes Alzheimer's disease treatable and preventable.

Our objective is to raise the funds to support the research of Professor Ralph Martins and his team.

We provide significant support to the research of internationally acclaimed pioneer researcher Professor Ralph Martins and his team. His leading edge research aims to increase understanding of the pathology of the disease, develop an early diagnosis, and identify treatments aimed at:

• preventing the development of the disease,
• deferring its onset,
• slowing or stopping its progression, and
• ameliorating or removing the underlying causes once the condition has developed.
