Ralph Martins Western Australian of the Year 2010

Supporting International Cutting Edge Research for Treatments for Alzheimer's Disease

It is estimated that 1.1 million Australians will have dementia in 2050.

Without treatments, expenditure on dementia is estimated to exceed $83 billion.

Alzheimer's disease comprises between 50% and 70% of all cases of dementia.

Alzheimer's disease can be beaten.

The research of Prof Ralph Martins is an integral part of an international research effort to develop treatments.

We need your support to continue this research so vital to the futures of the millions of Australians who will be affected by Alzheimer's.
